Previously based in New York, now living in Los Angeles, I've been in a myriad of plays and musicals, from original works in a basement theatre to Gilbert & Sullivan at Symphony Space in New York City. My forte is Shakespeare; recent roles include Elizabeth in Richard III with Shakespeare Under the Stars in Los Angeles and the Nurse in Romeo & Juliet at the Nevada Shakespeare in the Park in Las Vegas. I've even performed a Shakespeare marathon of sorts – all eight history plays, from Richard II to Richard III twelve actors playing all of the roles, running in rep for a month. I played over seventeen roles and memorized a lot of verse! But I’ve also tackled the terse and pause-filled text of Ian McEwan, the lush poetry of Ovid, and the dense words of Tony Kushner, with equal aplomb.
My training began at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in their pre-college program, and continued at Emerson College, where I earned a B.F.A. Currently I study at the Steppenwolf West.
